Suppose a plane began descending 45 miles from the airport. To find how high the plane was flying when it began descending.


The plane was flying at an altitude of

  1. 15
  2. 135
  3. 15,000
  4. 135,000feet when it began its descent.

This can't be determined.....the plane could have been at any height.....we would have to know the descent angle to calculate the answer to this question.......{although 15,000 seems most reasonable }

In other words,  the answer is A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O,P,Q,R,S,T,U,V,W,X,Y,Z,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 or any other number that stretches out to infinity
