In the diagram below, the area of angle BCD is 60. What is the length of side line BC?
Area of BCD = (1/2) * CD * BC .....so.....
60 = (1/2) * 15 * BC
60 = (15 / 2) * BC multiply both sides by 2 / 15
(2 / 15) * 60 = BC
( 60 / 15) * 2 = BC
4 * 2 = BC
8 = BC
