Area of trapezoid = ( BC / 2) * ( CD + BA )
Area of Trapezoid = (8 / 2) * ( 15 + 9 )
Area of Trapezoid = 4 * (24) = 96
So....
Area of BAD =
Area of Trapezoid - Area of BCD
96 - 60 = 36
