Whn lines are perpendicular, their slopes mutltiply to -1 in slope intercept form

We have:

y=2x+13

6y+ax =6

y= 2x+13

6y = -ax+6

y=2x+13

y=-(a/6)x+1

-(a/6) = -1/2

a=3
