In right triangle \(ABC\), shown below, \(\cos{B}=\frac{6}{10}\). What is \(\tan{C}\)?

tan C = 3/5.

If  cos(B) = 6/10, then  AB = 6.

Using the Pythagorean Theorem,  AC = 8.

 

Then, tan(C) = opposite / adjacent  =  6/8  =  3/4
