My brother is in first grade and was given this problem The instructions are to fill in the spaces with numbers that are 1,10, or 100 diffrenced from the ajecents. We cant figure it out. Are we just dumb lol?

Start with the 290 and work your way to 100. From there, everything falls into place, although it is a hard problem for a 1st grader...
