If $s-x=3$ and $s^{2} + x^{2} = 29$, what is the value of sx?
(s - x)(s - x) = s^2 + x^2 - 2sx
We know some of the values so we can plug stuff in.
(3)(3) = 29- 2sx
9 = 29 - 2sx
2sx = 20
sx = 10
I hope this helped. :)))
