If $s-x=3$ and $s^{2} + x^{2} = 29$, what is the value of sx?

(s - x)(s - x) = s^2 + x^2 - 2sx 

We know some of the values so we can plug stuff in. 

(3)(3) = 29- 2sx 

9 = 29 - 2sx

2sx = 20

sx = 10
