To do this, let's find the area of the triangle and the circle.

Triangle:

bh(1/2)=A

b=8

h=4

32(1/2) = 16

Circle:

pi(r^2)=A

pi(16)=A

Area = 16pi

Probability: 16/16pi = 1/pi

:)

The red triangle has area (1/2)*8*4 = 16 cm2.

The circle has area pi*42 = 16pi cm2

Hence probability that oint lis in red triangle = 16/(16pi) = 1/pi;
