x=1−22360700i      Take it from here .....

or   just plugging into the quadratic formula

    you will get as roots      4 +- sqrt (big negative number)

                                                             4

       or       just    1 + big imaginary number     and     1 - big imaginary number

                 summed , the 'big imaginary number' s cancel out and you are left with   1 + 1 = 2
