Slope intercept form of a line    y = mx + b     where m = slope and b = y axis intercept

y =  -3/7 x  + 18         the x axis intercept occurs when y = 0

0 = - 3/7x + 18

x = 18 * 7/3 = 42                42, 0   is the x axis intercept
