2. Simplify \(\dfrac{12x^{\frac32}}{3x^{24}}\cdot{\dfrac{5\sqrt{4x}}{2x^{\frac52}}}\cdot\dfrac{6x^{32}}{3x^{\frac72}}\)

3. When the temperature goes up 3 degreed on the C scale, it goes up 8 on the A scale. On both scales, 18 is the same temperature. How many A degrees are equal to 30 C?

Numerator     12*5*2*6    x3/2 *1/2*32    = 720 x 96/4  = 720x24

Denominator  3 * 2 *3  x 24*5/2*7/2  =  18 x 210

N/D =   40 x-186

c = 3/8 a + 11/25

30 = 3/8 a + 11.25

a = 50 degrees

Another way

c goes from 18 to 30    an increase of 12

   a should go up 12/3 *8   = 32 degrees          18 + 32 = 50 degrees

Numerator =720x^(3/2 + 1/2 + 32) =720x^34

Denominator=18x^(24 + 5/2 + 7/2) =18x^30

N / D = 720x^34 / 18x^30 =40x^4
