Help

9(-4x+16)=12(-6-3x)    distribute the 9 and 12 across the terms in the parentheses

-36x + 144  = -72 - 36x   rearrange

-36x + 144 = -36x - 72

This has no solution...adding 144 to -36x can't possibly equal 72 subtracted from -36x
