One angle of a right triangle measures 60°. The side opposite this angle measures 15 inches.
What is the length of the hypotenuse of the triangle?
Enter your answer, in simplest radical form
Thanks for the A2A!
The answer is \(10\sqrt{3}\).
Cheers!
We have a 30 - 60 - 90 right triangle
The side opposite the 30° angle = 15 / √ 3 = 15√3 / 3 = 5√3
The side opposite the 90° angle = 2 * 5√3 = 10√3
Just as Hypotenuisance said !!!!
