Well we know that when you multiply 18/4 by the reciprocal of 3/4, you will get the same answer. So when you have 18/4 multiplied by 3/4 you need to multiply the numerator by the numerator and the denominator by the denominator to get the new fraction. Therefore, 18 multiplied by 3 is 54 and 4 multiplied by 4 is 16. Take the two new numbers and put the first one on top of the second to make a new fraction, which is 54/16. We can simplify this by making it 27/8 which can also be expressed as 3 and 3/8 or 3.375.

Hope this helped :)
