Total solution will be 500 ml

  500 ml of 60%   =  500 (.6) = 300 ml of 100%

   

 75 % solution is   x           .75 x   is amount

 

25 % solution                     .25 (300-x)

 

 

.75x   +   .25 (300 - x)     = 300    Solve for 'x' = amount of 75% solution to use
