This says that we wish to find an angle whose sin = 7/15. We can use the arcsin function for this.

asin(7/15)

One caveat....if the angle lies in the 2nd quadrant, it would be a 27.818139284654 degree angle in that quadrant, i.e., 152.181860715346 degrees......so be careful, here.......

arcsin is the same a inverse sign. You have to use one of these when you are finding an ANGLE.

asin (7/15) =
or
sin -1(7/15) =

If you want the angle in degrees, make sure your calc is set to degrees. If you are using a hand held calc, there will probably be a tiny D at the top of the screen.
