A square pyramid has base edge length 18 cm. The slant height of the pyramid is 41 cm. What is the volume of the pyramid?

Looking at the prism, we see there is a right traingle with hypothenuse 41 and leg length of 18/2. Then, the other side must be 40 by pythagorean

theorem. Thus, the volume is \(\frac{1}{3}\cdot 18^2\cdot 40=4320\)
