All you have to do is multiply the number by .30. 

When a number is rediced by 30% the answer is 1920. what is the number.

By "rediced" do you mean "reduced"????. If so, then we have:

Let the original number=N

N - 30%N =1,920

N - 0.30N =1,920

0.70N =1,920 divide both sides by 0.70

N =1,920 /0.70

N =2,742.86 - The original number.
