A 12.0-kg box is initially at rest. If it is pushed such that it gains 1,850 J of energy, what will the final velocity of the box be? (Assume there is no friction.)

The formula for kinetic energy is

\(KE=\frac{mv^2}{2}\)

\(1,850=\frac{12v^2}{2}\)

\(v=17.6m/s\)
