how do I scale down the volume of a box by a factor of one tenth

Note that the "original" volume would be L * W * H

 

Scaling it down by a factor of 1/10 means that every dimension is just 10%  of its original size = .10

 

So...the "new" volume is just  ......

 

.10L x .10W x .10H   =  (.10)3 * L * W * H   where L, W and H were the original dimensions....
