For my sanity, lets name each problem a roman numeral and each anwser under it a subunit

I.

   x^2-100

         x^2=100

         x=+-sqrt(100)

   a. 10

   b.-10

II.

  (x-3)(x-5)

   a.3

   b.5

III.

   (2x-1)(3x+4)

    a.2x-1=0

       1/2

    b.3x+4=0

       -4/3

IV.

   x^2-5x

   x(x-5)

  a. x=0

   B. x=5

V.

   3x^2-5x

    x(3x-5)

    a.x=0

    b.3x=5

    x=5/3
