1.the sum of all edges of a rectangular prism is 60. The surface area of the prism is 160. The volume of the prism is 120. if each dimension of the rectangular prism increases by 2, what is the volume of the new prism.

2.Let ABCD be a triangular pyramid, with base BCD. If AB=AC=AD=8 and BC=BD=CD=6, then find the volume of the pyramid.

1. Not sure if this is the fastest way.

(l+2)(h+2)(w+2)=lwh+2(lh+lw+wh)+4(l+w+h)+8

120+2(80)+4(15)+8=348

2. Hint: The base is an equilateral triangle. Try to drop the altitude.
