2y+3x=8
+ y-2x=-3
2y + 3x = 8
1y - 2x = -3
Multiply the second equation through by -2
-2y + 4x = 6 add these
7x = 14 diviede both sides by 7
x = 2
And using 1y - 2x = -3 to find y
1y - 2(2) = -3
y - 4 = -3 add 4 to both sides
y = 1
