Tim's cat has a mass of 3.425 kg. Carol’s cat has a mass of 3.417 kg. Who’s cat has the greater mass and why?

Tim's cat has a greater mass because all the digits are the same from left to right until the hundreth's digit where Tim's cat has a 2 and Carol's cat has a 1 and 2>1.

Hope it helps!

I agree with HELPMEEEEEEEEEEEEE. The ones and tenths digits are both 3.4, but the hundredths are 2 and 1, respectively. 2>1, so Tim's cat has a greater hundredths value, so his cat's mass is greater.
