x^2 -10x =56     take 1/2  the 'b' coefficient  (-10)     square it and add it to both sides of the equation

x^2 -10x + 25 = 56 +25   now you can do this:

(x-5)^2  = 81

Now  x-5 = +- 9

          x = 14   or -4

I do wonder at the marvels of the sub-human brain. How did you ever figured out logging on to the forum?  Someone must have showed you several dozen times. I’m sure that’s how the other retardos learned.
