Find the zero(s) of f(x)=log(2x+4)

log (2x + 4)  = 0

 

This will be true when       log (1)   =   0

 

So....we need to find this :

 

2x + 4  = 1           subtract 4 from  both sides

 

2x  = -3        divide both sides by  2

 

x  = -3/2
