1. Find the sum of the coefficients in the polynomial $-2(x^7 - x^4 + 3x^2 - 5) + 4(x^3 + 2x) - 3(x^5 - 4)$.

2. Expand $(z^2 -3z+2)(z^3 + 4z-2).$

Sum of coefficients = -2+2-6+10+4+8-3+12 = 25

(z^2 -3z+2)(z^3 + 4z-2)= z^5 + 4z^3 -2z^2 -3z^4 -12z^2 +6z + 2z^3 +8z -4

= z^5 - 3z^4 + 6z^3 - 14z^2 + 14z - 4
