The slope is -4/2 = -2.

The y-intercept is (0, -2)

We can use this information to write an equation for the function and find the x-intercept, the x-intercept is the value of x when f(x) = 0:

f(x) = mx + b

f(x) = -2x -2

0 = -2x - 2

2 = -2x

-1 = x

The x-intercept is (-1,0)

Hope this helps!
