One angle of a right triangle measures 60°. The side opposite this angle measures 9 inches.

What is the length of the hypotenuse of the triangle?

I got (6 sqrt3) but I am not sure its right :(

We have a 30-60-90 right triangle

 

The hypotenuse =  2/√3  times the side opposite the 60°  angle

 

So

 

9 * 2  /√3  =   18/√3  =   18√3 / 3   =   6√3

 

You are correct   !!!
