can u factorise x2-7x+12

\(x^2-7x+12\)

You need to find 2 numbers that multiply to +12  and add to -7

Since they multpiply to a positive number, the signs must be the same.

Since that add to a negative, they both must be negative.

The only option is  -3 and -4

(x-3)(x-4)
