These are always a bit tricky  .... you have to look at TWO possibilities    3x+2  is negative     3x + 2  is positive

Negative

  x < 3x+2          (notice the '>' sign got reversed !)

  -2 <2x

   x> -1

 

Positive

x> 3x+2        -2> 2x        x< -1

 

So now you have to find the values     from     - inf  to -1        then     -1 to + inf     to find the solution..... can you do that?
