Let's start by setting up the problem

 

We're going to need the sine of 35 degrees

 

sin(35)

 

sine equals the measure of the opposite side divided by the measure of the hypotenuse. 

 

sin(35) = x/4.1

 

enter this into the calculator

 

sin(35)=x/4.1 = x=((41*sin_rad(((7*pi)/36)))/10)

 

 

So, x equals about 2.4 meters.
