Do you always need to check for extraneous solutions when solving rational equations?

 

A. No, As long as the solutions are real numbers

 

B. No, Not if the equation only has one solution.

 

C. Yes, because rational equations have domain limitations

 

D. Yes, because each equation can't have multiple solutions
