The area of a circle is by multiplied by 1/4, what is the effect on the radius?
I got the radius would be multiplied by 1/2 (just thru guess check), but idk how to prove it.
Your "guess" is correct !!!
Since the new area is 1/4 of what it was......any linear measure on the circle (in this case, the new radius) = sqrt (1/4) = 1/2 of what it originally was,,,,,,,
Thanks CPhill :)
