Hints:

The shaded region is the area of the triangle subtracted from the area of the circle

Area of circle \(=\varpi r^2\)

where r is the radius and it is half the diameter (The straight line that passes the center in the circle) 

I.e. the right triangle you need to find the other side (hypotenuse)
