I need the diagonal fold of a square piece of paper of origami paper to be 10 cm long. What dimensions do I need to cut the square origami paper?

First, split that square in half. Then think about the pythagorean theorem. a2 + b2 = c2  Since this diagonal is the hypotenuse, it would be c2 so what you have is a2 + b2 = 100

since a and b are the same thing, because a square is made up of 4 equal sizes. so 2a2=100 Divide both sides bu 2 a2=50

a = square root of 50
