Write the standard form of the circle with the center (-11,11) and a point on the circle (-15,7)

#1**+1 **

You have the center....you need to find the radius...this will be the distance from the center to the point given

d = sqrt ( (-11 - -15)^2 + (11-7)^2 ) = sqrt 32

Then standard form is (x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2

(x+11)^2 + (y-11)^2 = 32
