30=4x-1x can you please help me solve this

30=4x-1x

30=4x-1x=3x First subtract 4x and 1x to get 3x

30=3x

30/3=3x/3 Now divide 3 on both sides so the the 3 in 3x will cancel out with the dividing 3

10=x Now you have yoir finished problem but you may want to write it the proper way
