Use the Pythagorean Theorem.

REMEMBER that the radical symbol is like a pair of brackets: [ ] or parentheses: ( )

Another equation that is commonly used is also:

\(a^2+b^2=c^2\)

You substitute values until you find the hyptonuse of the triangle.
