For integers x and y, what is the smallest possible positive value of 420x + 300y?
If you call x = –2 and y = +3, you get –840 + 900 = 60
Likewise x = +3 and y = –4, you get 1260 – 1200 = 60
I'm not certain that is the lowest possible total.
