s/t=14/12

Then s/t, where t is 7 must equal to 14/12.

s/7=14/12

12s=98

s=98/12

s=49/6

s = kt

14 = k 12

k = 7/6                       s = 7/6 t        when t = 7    s =  49/6

The cartesian product of two sets is the set of all possible ordered pairs whose first component is a member of the first set and whose second component is a member of the second set.
