Just a couple more steps and you would have had it. 

If I were solving it for the answer, I'd combine some steps in my head, but here I'll spell them out. 

 

Start with                                         210  =  6(201 – x) 

Multiply it out                                   210  =  1206 – 6x 

Add 6x both sides                    6x + 210  =  1206 

Subtract 210 both sides                     6x  =  996 

Divide both sides by 6                         x  =  166
