alexa designed a logo 2 inches wide and 1.5 inches tall to be used on her school's website. The school wants the logo to appear on the as 8 inches wide. How tall will the logo be if it is enlarged proportionally?

2 inches wide to 8 inches wide is a scale (multiplication ) factor of 4    (because 2 x 4 = 8)

   so the 'tall-ness' has to multiply by this factor also.....

        1.5 in x 4 = 6 inches tall
