what is −35+3x > 5(x−5)

Ok , so for this it's best to treat the > as if it was an = ' 

so it will be -35+3x = 5(x-5) 

So first you will need to isolate the variable "X"  

-35+3x=5x-25

add the 25 to both sides 

so , -10+3x=5x 

subtract the 3x 

-10=2 x , then divide the 2x 

x=-5 

now since its negative the >switches to < 

x<-5
