How many units long is a line segment whose endpoints have(-3,7) coordinates (2,-5) and ?

 

So i did distance fourmula and i got  But than is entered √169 and it was rong 

\(\sqrt{ \left( 2 - -3\right)^2 + \left(-5 - 7\right)^2}\\ \sqrt{ \left( 2 + + 0\right)^2 + \left(-5 - 7\right)^2}\\\sqrt{\left( 5\right)^2 + \left(-12\right)^2}\\\sqrt{ 25 + 144 }\\ \sqrt{ 169 } \approx 13\)

sqrt [  (2--3)^2 + (-5-7)^2  ]

sqrt ( 5^2 + (-12)^2 )

sqrt (169)        or 13
