Someone please help me.

What is the volume of the cylinder? Use 3.14 for pi and round to the nearest whole number. Diameter is 4. Height is 5.

cylinder volume = area x height     area = pi x r^2      r = 1/2 diameter

3.14 x   2^2   x  5

3.14 x 4 x 5

3.14 x 20    units^3

62.8 units^3

The formula for volume of a cylinder is:

\(\Pi r^2h\)

Plug in numbers:

\(\Pi 2^25\)

The radius is half the diameter.

Now 2^2= 4

4*5=20

20*3.14=62.8

62.8 rounded to the nearest whole number is:

63
