A member of the swim team will be elected as President. Each member is equally likely to be elected. The probability that a girl is elected is 3/2 the probability that a boy is elected. What fraction of the swim team are girls?

This is my thought process: so since the probability that a girl is elected is 3/2 the probability that a boy is elected. I made b for boys. So that mean it's 3/2b. Then I did 3/2b + b = 1 (because highest probability is 1), 5/2b=1 b=2/5. But this is incorrect.

You calculated that 2/5ths of the swim team are boys.

This means that 3/5ths of the swim team are girls.

Which I think is correct.
