You do not need to hit the fraction button first

0.333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333 then hit = gives you 1/3

0.567878787878787878787878787878787878787878787878787878787878787878787878787878787878 then hit = gives you 937/1650

First enter your repeating decimal such as .3333333333.....etc. On the top right-hand side there are a bunch of lines or bars. Click on them and you should get a drop-down list. Click on "Fractions" and then press the = sign. You should get: 1/3.
