f(x)=-2x^2+8x+25

\(f(x)=2x^2+8x+25\)

             a         b         c

\(x = {-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac} \over 2a}\)

\(x = {-8 \pm \sqrt{8^2-4*2*25} \over 2*2}\)

\(x= -2\pm\sqrt{-136}\)

\(x_1=-2+11.662\ i\)

\(x_2=-2-11.662\ i\)

f(x)=-2x^2+8x+25

asinus has solved this, actually he made a mistake... he forgot the minus sign in front of the 2 ... the x intercepts are real.

0=-2x^2+8x+25

But this is not your question.  You have actually not asked a question.

What do you want to know?

This is the formula for a concave down parabola that has a y intercept of 25
