Ight, first find the area of the triangles. That would be (4 * 9) / 2 for one triangle but since there are two it's just 4*9 = 36 yd2 (for the triangles)

 

The rectangle facing the right has dimensions of 5 yd and 12 yd, so the area of that is 5 * 12 = 60 yd2.

The rectangle opposite of that (the one on the left, not the bottom one) has dimensions of 8 yd * 12 yd, so its area is 8 * 12 = 96 yd2.

The bottom rectangle has dimensions 9 yd * 12 yd, so its area is 108 yd2.

 

Adding all the areas up, you get 36 + 60 + 96 + 108 = 300. Yey
